Sketches for Rihanna’s upcoming collection under the Emporio Armani name have surfaced. It’s not much, lets be honest, it’s simple and not at all impressive. Simple ready-to-wear that will be valued only for the Rihanna stamp posted all over it. Shorts, loose t-shirts and denim overalls, nothing new, nothing special.
Every year Coca-Cola launches a limited edition of designer diet coke bottles. After working with designers like Manolo Blahnik, Patricia Field and Karl Lagerfeld, this year’s designer is Jean Paul Gaultier. His inspiration is the pop diva queen, Madonna, with her unfading beauty and teen spirit.
As part of his new role, Gaultier has created a series of short films titled The Serial Designer. Each film features one of the Diet Coke puppets, with Gaultier taking on the role of a therapist, a journalist and even a private detective as he helps solve their fashion emergencies.
An entire photo shoot has been made for the campaign featuring a model wearing Madonna inspired costumes with Gaultier’s picture in stead of her face.
A playful couple, actor Eddie Redmayne and model Cara Delevigne, a campaign by Mario Testino for the brit lifestyle brand, Burberry, it sure makes us crave it all! The great thing is that our attention isn’t caught only by the garments themselves, but also on the eyewear collection, as well as accessories and shoes. Tweed, tartan, horizontal stripes and earthy tones - the key elements of Burberry, the staples that make them who they are, recognizable anywhere to basically everyone following the fashion industry! We love the ethnic elements that make the seemingly boring garments pop and give them a new, funky, fresh feel. And the sunglasses, keeping their focus on the bulky frames tortoiseshell glasses fit perfectly the shape of the face leaving the oversized trend last year, where it belongs!
This is Somedays Lovin's motto, and that was exactly what we thought when we saw the “Waitin For The Night” collection of the Australian brand. The pictures send such a relaxed, easy-going vibe that you simply can't stand not to fall in love with. It makes you want to wear it all, the ripped, old-looking shorts, the almost backless tops, the chic, lace dresses or even the oh-so-cozy-looking cardigans, every piece makes you crave the sun, the beach and that feeling of having no care in the entire wide world!
”Cardigan feeling”, this is the theme of this s/s collection from The Reracs, and you can tell by the parade of cardigans showcased, a key element in the looks created. Nordic patterns and stripes embellish the lovely knitwear of the brand. The military trend is still going strong, as you can see by the inspired jackets, the colorful jeans and funky shorts give the lookbook a relaxed, joyful feel. Even the featured suits have a relaxed vibe, looking slick and funky, completed with stylish scarves, ties and fedoras.
