Sketches for Rihanna’s upcoming collection under the Emporio Armani name have surfaced. It’s not much, lets be honest, it’s simple and not at all impressive. Simple ready-to-wear that will be valued only for the Rihanna stamp posted all over it. Shorts, loose t-shirts and denim overalls, nothing new, nothing special.
Every year Coca-Cola launches a limited edition of designer diet coke bottles. After working with designers like Manolo Blahnik, Patricia Field and Karl Lagerfeld, this year’s designer is Jean Paul Gaultier. His inspiration is the pop diva queen, Madonna, with her unfading beauty and teen spirit.
As part of his new role, Gaultier has created a series of short films titled The Serial Designer.Each film features one of the Diet Coke puppets, with Gaultier taking on the role of a therapist, a journalist and even a private detective as he helps solve their fashion emergencies.
An entire photo shoot has been made for the campaign featuring a model wearing Madonna inspired costumes with Gaultier’s picture in stead of her face.
